Dietsche + Dietsche Architects PC team with clients to create spaces that realize dreams in harmony with unique natural settings.

Every client begins the process of building a dream home with a location they love--a location that inspires and rejuvenates them, a location that they enjoy sharing with family and friends. Wilmington, NC architects, Dietsche + Dietsche Architects PC specialize in blending the characteristics of that special place with a family’s deepest dreams and wishes.  As careful listeners, they explore what draws their clients to the locations they choose while discovering their deepest connections to happiness and fulfillment.  They carefully read each client’s recipe for balancing solitude, family time, and entertaining, and together client and architect create a manifestation of their dream space.

Dietsche + Dietsche combines the talents of husband and wife architects Chuck Dietsche and Anna Henderson Dietsche. The two collaborate seamlessly to bring to life communities, homes, interior spaces and furnishings that share a unified vision. Their projects can be seen on Bald Head Island, Outer Banks, Wrightsville Beach, Cape Fear, Figure Eight Island, and across the US.

Chuck Dietsche

Chuck Dietsche is inspired by his clients’ deep connections to the spaces where they dream of living.  To this he brings a passion for architectural history and theory informed by world travel, literary curiosity, and his own nostalgia for the Cape Cod vacations of his childhood.  He is both an architect’s architect and an enthusiastic guide for those curious about the art of creating harmonious environments in which to live and work.  This vision informs his projects from the way he sites buildings to enhance spectacular landscapes to the interior detail and unique furniture he designs for their livable interiors. As a neo-traditional land planner, he creates human-scale, environmentally friendly communities that make us realize how we most want to live. His award winning plans for Bald Head Island, North Carolina have created beautiful and lasting communities that preserve the integrity of its beaches and unique maritime forest. His landmark waterfront residences and communities can be seen across the country.  Chuck Dietsche has a degree in architecture from Cornell University and an MBA from Yale.
